| Shipping and Delivery Information We offer two different ways for you to take possession of your Suzara Shelties. Please read through each option carefully before deciding which is right for you. Option 1 Meeting At Our Home The way we recommend and prefer ourselves is for you to come here and pick the dog up yourself. We at Suzara would like to meet our buyers and also believe it is a good experience for the new owner to see the dogs home environment. This is a great way for the new owners to see the dogs temperament, and how it interacts with familiar people and pets in a familiar and comfortable surrounding. This is really the best way to see the dogs personality as it will be at its calmest and most relaxed. Option 2 Shipping Your Dog By Air Airline shipping is the second option we will offer to you. We do not like to do this as it can be stressful on the dog, but we do understand that sometimes this is the only way possible and we will ship through the airlines. Please know that when we ship a dog through the airlines, there is several steps that must be taken before the dog can be shipped. Therefore the fees incurred are passed on to the buyer. These fees include but are not limited to: 1) Airline ticket (prices vary based on size and weight of dog and destination 2) Vet check and health certification (required by airline) 3) Airline approved crate and travel kit (price varies based on size and weight of dog.) 4) Transportation to the vet & airport. 5) If paying with creditcard or Paypal, We will pass the fees we incur on to the buyer. (This will be between 2.9 and 3.9 % based on the total amount due at time of purchase.) 6) IF buyer is paying with canadian currency, we will also charge a 3.9% fee that we will be charged by our bank for the exchange rate fee. Please note: These are the standard fees incurred with shipping the dog. In extenuating circumstances, other fees could be incurred. If that is the case than these expenses will be passed on to the buyer as well. Also know that based on the weather we may not be able to ship your dog through the airlines. The airlines have set a temperature requirement and will not ship any live animal unless the temperature falls into their required range. The air temperature must be between 40 - 85 degrees Fahrenheit If the temperature is above or below the temperature requirements we will not be able to ship your dog until the temperature falls into the required range. The temperature must be within the range at both the destination and depature locations. Therefore we prefer to ship a dog through CONTINENTAL AIRLINES as they do not have temperature restrictions. The reason Continental does not have temp restrictions, is because an attendant will give each each live animal individual attention and will bring them in a climate controlled setting at all times. This means that the dog will be brought indoors at the terminal if necessary. Also Continental will also make reservations. Reservations are extremely important and a welcome convenience for both buyer and seller. We will all have piece of mind knowing that the dog will not be rejected at the airport when they arrive for departure. There will be no wasted trip to the airport and there will be a definite departure and arrival time. If Continental is not an available option to you, we then prefer to ship with Northwest Airlines. Northwest accepts reservations, but they have a temp restriction and the above information will apply. For more airline information please go to http://www.nwa.com WE WILL SHIP TO THE USA AND CANADA ONLY. NO EXCEPTIONS. We WILL NOT ship Internationally. If you have any other questions please contact us and we will be happy to answer any questions or concerns you may have. |
